A Life Turned Around

As your caregivers, family members may want to attend your doctor appointments with you. They can help you by:

  • Organizing all of the informational materials you receive from your cardiologist or surgeon
  • Assisting with appointment scheduling
  • Accompanying you to your appointments and taking notes on what the doctor is telling you and the treatment plan
  • Providing transportation to and from the clinic and hospital
  • Making arrangements for your recovery at home
  • Watching for signs of complications
  • Helping to keep your spirits up

With the help of friends and family, you may feel better informed and may recover more quickly.
